This mare is excellent on trail rides and goes without shoes. Blackie is an easy keeper. No leg or any other health issues. She has had 3 foals that were all easy to break. We currently are tuning her up and trying to take a few pounds off of her. We ride her with a hackamore. I never put a bit in her mouth. I do have her AQHA papers.
